Crystal Palace host Arsenal on Monday evening for their second Premier League clash of the new season.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal odds
Crystal Palace have a lot to do it would seem as they are a big price just to win at home at 5/1. Arsenal are 4/7 odds-on and that price is reflective of the Gunners’ dominance over Palace last season and the gap between them in the table in 2022/23.
A draw is an appealing enough price at 3/1 though, as these two teams have drawn four times in eight fixtures.

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal predictions
There may have been a few draws about between these two sides recently, but last season showed the progression of Arsenal after they did the double over them, which included a 2-0 at Selhurst Park, also in August.
Palace look to better their finish last season but it’s unlikely given Arsenal’s progression – with new signings like Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, however the latter is set to be injured for this clash.
Arsenal also look strong after taking the Community Shield over the reigning league champs Manchester City, albeit via penalties.
This is an interesting clash on Monday Night Football, but it looks as though it can only end one way, and it could be another nice score too.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal betting tips
Arsenal to win and over 2 goals – 13/10
There’s been 2 or more goals scored in each of the last five meetings between these clubs, including a 4-1 win last time out for the Gunners as recently as five months ago.
Palace might be hurting though, they’ve lost a couple of long serving players including Wilfried Zaha and Luka Milivojevic and are also rumoured to be losing Michael Olise to Chelsea.
This could end up being a big win from Arsenal, as Palace may be lacking in goals to counter the Gunners’ relentless attacks.
Arsenal are still prone to a goal though and that was evident against Nottingham Forest, even though they probably could have won by a much larger margin.
If Arsenal are still not fully at their best defensively, which usually occurs to teams at the start of the season, as new players continue to settle in, they could be found out. But it shouldn’t matter too much given Mikel Arteta’s choices up top where plenty of goals can come from.
Gabriel Martinelli to score – 12/5
The lowest price scorer for Palace is Odsonne Edouard at 4/1 and it shows how many players for Arsenal can bag a goal that eight of them are shorter prices.
They are Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah, Kai Havertz and Reiss Nelson all at 21/10, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard at 12/5.
And Emile Smith Rowe (11/4) and Martin Odegaard (10/3) who beat any Palace player in the odds.
But it’s the Brazilian who’s likely to make the starting lineup yet again, Martinelli who looks capable of scoring here.
He’s netted three goals in just six appearances against the Eagles and two of those came in the double over them last season.
