Chris Wood, Ola Aina, Anthony Elanga and Matt Turner have all completed moves to the City Ground this summer.

They will be looking to climb further up the table this time round and have now brought in World Cup winning quality.

Montiel, who will wear the no.29 shirt, said: “I’m really happy to have joined this club.

His penalty unsurprisingly sparked jubilant scenes from Lionel Messi and co. as they got their hands on the biggest prize of all.

Montiel has now swapped La Liga for the Premier League, a move that will see him face his fellow World Cup winners.
