Crystal Palace vs Wolves: £30 free bets, odds and betting tips on Sky Bet

Crystal Palace host Wolves on Sunday afternoon for the fourth Premier League fixture of the 2023/24 season.

Crystal Palace vs Wolves odds

Crystal Palace are a short price to win as the odds-on favourites to win the clash on Sunday afternoon at 10/11.

There are chances of a draw at 12/5 but Wolves are not fancied to get the win according to the bookies and as such are out to 16/5, however that can largely be attributed to Wolves’ poor form away from home against the Eagles recently.

Crystal Palace vs Wolves predictions

Wolves aren’t without their quirks and look a very different side to the team Premier League fans would be used to seeing over the last couple of seasons.

Without Ruben Neves they’ve needed to cement the centre of midfield but despite that they’ve managed to continue to be a very attacking team.

That was evident in their game against Man United on their opening league clash, but they failed to be clinical, despite having 23 shots on goal and six on target they came away with a narrow 1-0 loss at Old Trafford.

Brighton then cleaned up at Molineux Stadium winning 4-1 in what was a game to forget for Wolves.

They need goals but so far the only players in each of these sides to have scored are Hwang Hee-Chan and Sasa Kalajdzic for Wolves and Odsonne Edouard and Joachim Andersen for Palace.

This could be one of those games where everything finally goes in, or continue to struggle to find the back of the net, which makes a draw a very nice price.

Crystal Palace vs Wolves betting tips

Draw, under 2.5 goals 11/4

This bet builder covers both eventualities of either side scoring for a 1-1 draw or the dreaded goalless bore draw.

In each of their meetings previously there’s been the odd couple of goals, Wolves won 2-0 last year before the reverse fixture saw Crystal Palace win 2-1.

There’s certainly goals to be had here with both sides prone to conceding and a 1-1 looks likely without either team being able to take the definitive victory.

Palace are unbeaten against Wolves at home in their last four meetings with Wolves spanning back to a 1-0 loss back in October of 2018.

It’s a fixture that very rarely sees three or more goals, in fact only once in the last ten meetings in all competitions have seen three goals scored.

And that came at Selhurst Park in a 2-1 victory last season; based on the trend of the two sides, it’s unlikely to happen again.
