West Ham star Jarrod Bowen scored a historic goal against Luton as he responded to his England snub in the best possible fashion.
The Hatters are playing their first ever home match in the Premier League against the Hammers, live on talkSPORT.
West Ham arrived at Kenilworth Road off the back of a huge 3-1 win away at Brighton last weekend.
Bowen scored and assisted against the Seagulls, but was not named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for their upcoming games against Ukraine and Scotland.
However, the 26-year-old ensured the omission did not affect his efforts for West Ham as he scored his third of the season.
He was on hand to get onto the end of Lucas Paqueta’s cross inside the area to head past Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.
In doing so, he has become the first person to score at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League.
And he is also the first West Ham player to score in three consecutive away games at the start of a season since 1930.
