Brennan Johnson is traveling to London as interest in the forward heats up, talkSPORT understands.
Tottenham and Brentford are keen on a move for the Nottingham Forest star but neither have yet struck a formal deal for the player who is valued at £50million.
Johnson is making the journey to ensure that he’s in the right place at the right time should an agreement be reached.
Tottenham are looking for attacking reinforcements following the high-profile departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
While the 22-year-old wouldn’t be a like-for-like replacement, he’d undoubtedly strengthen their side after scoring eight goals as Forest avoided relegation last term.
As for the Bees, they’re looking to strengthen their forward line due to Ivan Toney’s ban which runs until January 16.
Should Johnson complete his move away from the City Ground, Forest will step up their interest in Ibrahim Sangare.
The 25-year-old plays as a defensive midfielder for PSV Eindhoven but is being lined up as an option to bolster Steve Cooper’s midfield.
Fulham are also interested in the Ivory Coast international as they look to replace Bayern Munich-bound Joao Palhinha.
