Florian Marku did not waste any time in getting Conor McGregor’s sparring partner Dylan Moran out of there.
The two men fought on the undercard of the rematch between Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr and it was Marku who emerged victorious in emphatic fashion.
The build-up had been heated, with the two men clashing at the press conference and the weigh-in on fight week.
Marku predicted he would finish the fight within six or seven rounds, but he managed it much quicker than that.
On the night, Marku proved to be too much for Moran, as he pounced on him immediately from the opening bell.
The Albanian former kickboxer landed a clean counter that wobbled the Irishman.
And as Moran backed off against the ropes, he was caught by a flurry of shots that left him out on his feet.
The referee then stepped in to wave off the bout within 54 seconds of the first round, as Marku celebrated.
In his post-fight interview, Marku pleaded with his promoter Ben Shalom to get him a big fight next, with his record now at 13-0-1.
Marku then called out Josh Taylor, Conor Benn and Kell Brook, as he is looking for activity, having spent over a year out of the ring prior to this fight with Moran.
