John Fury is predicting a brutal clash between his son Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou later this year.
The pair are set to fight on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the current WBC heavyweight boxing world champion and the former UFC heavyweight champion of MMA will be pitted against one another.
It will be conducted under boxing rules, although Fury’s WBC world title will not be on the line.
But, his father John Fury believes the bout will be fought with just as much fervour as if there was a world title up for grabs.
“I do believe [Ngannou’s] going to bring the smoke,” Fury Sr told SecondsOut.
“I’m expecting Tyson to come out with a broken leg or a broken arm.
“I’m glad they’re paying him well, because if they weren’t paying him well I wouldn’t put him up against Ngannou.
“He’s going to get knocked about, Tyson, and he knows that. Exhibition my backside – they’re going to kill each other them pair.”
Fury Sr added that he wants his son to soon cross over and fight current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones in the Octagon..
“Go out with a bang,” he said, “Let the world know who’s the real deal in all walks of life, not just a boxing match.
“Tyson can do that. Tyson will kick your nuts up your back, he’ll elbow you and give you 20 stitches in your face.
“He’ll probably bite one of your ears off as well.”
