Mike Tyson couldn’t get enough of watching baseball star Jose Ramirez dropping opposing player Tim Anderson with a brutal punch.
The boxing legend was recently at a signing event where he was shown the viral clip of Cleveland Guardians star Ramirez fighting Chicago White Sox’s Anderson.
Tyson was immediately engrossed, as he shouted, “Ooh, ooh, ooh.”
When the punch landed, Tyson loved it, as he swung back in his chair and bashed against the table.
“He hit him with his eyes closed,” Tyson remarked with a big smile on his face.
This fight took place last month when at the bottom of the sixth inning, with the White Sox leading 5-0, Ramirez slid into second base and got tagged by Anderson.
Ramirez was immediately furious and the pair squared up.
Anderson threw a few punches, but Ramirez was ready to go, as he got his head down and wildly unleashed hooks.
Just as the other players attempted to separate the two men, Ramirez caught Anderson with a clean right hook that sent him tumbling down to the ground.
Both men were ejected from the game, with the White Sox going on to win 7-4.
The pair were subsequently handed bans, with Anderson slapped with a five-match punishment, with Ramirez handed a three-game suspension.
Taking to social media to issue an apology, Ramirez stated that Anderson is refusing to acknowledge him.
He posted: “Everyone who knows me, knows well I’m not somebody who’s out there looking for trouble.
“It’s been part of my personality and behaviour to give 100 percent everyday at the field to help my team and trying to be an example for the younger players on my team.
“I’ve been trying to reach to him directly and apologise but haven’t received an answer.
“I want to reiterate apologies for my behaviour and as always my goal is to help my team to win and reach the post-season.”
