John Krasinski, Emily Blunt and Anna Wintour were all watching on as Novak Djokovic faced Ben Shelton at Flushing Meadows.
It is often the case that the US Open brings out some of the biggest celebrities in town and this year is no different.
In attendance to watch Djokovic in action on Friday night at Flushing Meadows was Blunt and Krasinski, who have been married since 2010.
Also watching on was Vogue’s editor-in-chief Wintour, who is a regular at such events.
And they have been given quite the treat to feast their eyes on as the plucky Shelton stood up to the imperious Djokovic.
It can be a daunting task to face the Serbian, even for most professionals, but the 20-year-old has shown no fear.
Djokovic took the first set 6-3 in the US Open semi-final but Shelton has been more than holding his own with some tremendous serves.
And while Shelton has exhibited some jaw-dropping moments, there appears to still be plenty to learn from the young American.
One moment in the second set saw him save a first break point with brilliant skill only to go on to lose the game with a double fault.
It came at a crucial time, too, as it gave Djokovic the lead – something you simply cannot do against the 23-Grand Slam winner.
