Manchester United have struck a world-record deal with Qualcomm Snapdragon to become the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor.
The Red Devils will partner with the technology firm from the start of next season that will include the Snapdragon logo on their home, away and third shirts.
The deal will cover both the men’s and the women’s teams.
The agreement will be worth a staggering £60million per year, the most lucrative front-of-shirt in world football, beating Real Madrid’s current deal with Fly Emirates.
A press release from the club said: “Manchester United PLC has agreed to an expanded strategic collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc, that will see the Snapdragon brand displayed on the club’s famous shirts.”
Qualcomm Technologies already has an existing partnership with the club, however the new agreement will see them expand their exposure.
Man United are currently sponsored by TeamViewer and have been since the start of the 2021/22 season, however this is the final year of that agreement.
That partnership is currently worth £47million a year, with the hope that the increased levels of income will help the club to compete in the transfer market.
This comes with the Red Devils keen to make four key signings next summer as they look to close the gap at the top of the Premier League and push towards becoming one of the top clubs in world football once again.
